I have passed by the restaurant many times but today was my first time going in. I am very glad I did. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful. The main attendant was kind and attentive to my request. I elected to make my own bowl with rice base, chicken, and tikka style. I wanted to try something else and asked the attendant what he recommends. He told me pav bhaji would be great if I wanted something more like an appetizer. I also added a mango and rose lassi. I wanted to eat in the store but was unsure if I would finish everything. So he helped me by having my bowl be placed in a to go container for ease. Sadly, I didn't take a picture since I was excited to try the food. The service was incredibly fast and my food was served hot. The attendant brought out my food and provided me with utensils. He started off by giving me the pav bhaji. He informed me how to best eat it, to mix in butter and had lime. I was informed that the meal is vegetable based, so I thought it wouldn't be filling. I was proven wrong. They served a good portion. It was very savory and the flavors mixed well. The vegetables were soft and had absorbed the flavors of the curry, making it so much better. It reminded me of Chana masala. The bowl was also very good. The chicken was juicy and warm. The sauce was so good, should have honestly asked for more. The toppings add a nice crunch and texture, when compared to the rice and chicken. I tried mango and rose lassis and it's delicious. Both are very sweet. The rose lassi is very smooth and has the perfect taste of rose. The mango lassi reminded me of homemade mango smoothies/yogurts I would get back in Mexico. Between the two, I prefer the mango lassi but I will be getting the rose flavor again. Overall I am very happy with my experience with the staff and meal. I will definitely be coming again and bringing my friends.

Ordered pick up and the food was ready earlier than expected. The paneer tikka pizza was yummy and fresh! The sauces matched perfectly with the spices of the paneer. The moti cakes were the perfect touch to finish the meal on a sweet tooth

After enjoying the Indian Pizza at their Lincoln Park location, we decided to check out the River North spot to explore more of their menu. The Butter Masala Bowl was rich and flavorful without being overly spicy, while the Bir Yummy Bowl delivered a nice kick. The Firecracker Momos had a juicy, tender chicken filling, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the sauce. If you like 'spice' then give the Masala Chai, but it's not for everyone. The staff was friendly, and service for the bowls was quick. The momos may be made to order, because they took a little longer. The space is small, with just a few chairs and two high-top tables.

What a gem! I stumble upon the food menu online and I was instantly intrigued and had to visit. The inside is relatively small with a few tables and window seating. In the summer, I believe there is outside seating. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We tried the vada pav pizza, chicken tikka masala curry, and tikka masala momos. The pizza was incredible - the different flavors from the tikka masala, potato, onions, and green chutney came together perfectly. The momos reminded me of East Asian soup dumplings with a delicious sauce. The curry was creamy and flavorful. I already want to go back to try the other pizza flavors - how will I choose which one? We finished with an iced chai - the masala flavor was strong and the drink was creamy without any additional sweetness, which was a refreshing change.

Only ever delivered food but it's been solid both times. Not like the best food ever but consistent and bursting with flavors. I loved the tikka masala Mac n cheese and my boyfriend's favorite is the samosa pizza!

Great samosas and reasonably priced. The chutney was perfectly seasoned. The place sales Indian flavor Pizzas, but I just wanted samosas. I'll certainly be back when in town.

We had a take out pizza for the first time from this place and we totally loved it!!! We ordered half and half tikka chicken and paneer! The place didn't look like a sit out and eat types it was more carry out place. We have to give the order online they don't take phone orders

Blown away by how delicious this meal was. We got the vada pav, paneer tikka pan pizza, and masala fries. Everything was absolutely mouthwatering and would definitely get it all again! The service was also excellent. The river north location is pretty small just a few sit down tables but it gives a nice "hole in the wall" vibe. Would 100% come back!

Happy to report that Masala Pizza is just as delicious as it sounds! This place has a variety of options, including make-your-own bowls/wraps, chaat, and pizzas. We got a pie that was half Paneer Tikka and half Veg Manchurian, and both were fantastic. The Veg Manchurian was topped with plenty of manchurian bits and a classic Indo-Chinese Schezuan sauce (slightly spicy), while the Paneer Tikka was paneer, some chopped up veggies, and green chutney. The lovely service makes this place a definite return to try the other flavors. Slightly limited seating inside, but we had no trouble finding a spot.

I always enjoy the food here... sometimes it's a wait but worth it. Service is also good I was pleasantly surprised with how good the samosas were! Give it a try
